Wedding Coordination Questions

  • Do you offer day-of wedding coordination?

    The short answer is yes. Our ‘month-of’ package is day-of coordination, we just start our vendor management and coordination services one month prior to the wedding date.

  • What is the best way to contact you?

    Email is preferred, but direct messaging us on Facebook or Instagram is welcome as well.

  • When can I expect a response to my inquiry?

    2 - 4 week days is our typical response time. Very limited to responses on the weekends.

  • Do you have preferred vendors?

    Yes, see this list of our favorite vendors. You are not required to use these vendors.

  • What is your travel policy?

    Travel up to 80 miles from Richmond, VA (zip code: 23220) is included in our coordination services. A travel fee of $250 is added for weddings outside of that radius. If lodging and travel costs exceed that amount, additional fees may apply.

  • Do you set up my personal wedding decor?

    Yes, medium décor set up is included in our coordination services. This may include centerpieces, place settings, signage, candles, etc. We do NOT arrange florals, but are happy to place prearranged DIY florals on tables as needed. It is encouraged to hire a full service caterer that sets up table linens, dinnerware, and filling water goblets.

  • Are you licensed and insured?

    Yes, Ashley’s Occasions LLC has an active RVA Business License and is registered with the VA State Corporation Commission. We also have general liability business insurance through Next Insurance.

Rental Questions

  • Do you have a showroom that i can visit?

    At this time, no. Ashley’s Occasions is still small enough to operate within the owner’s private home.

  • What is your delivery policy?

    20 miles or less of travel from Richmond, VA (23220) is included in the rental price for furniture. After 20 miles, a delivery fee will apply. A delivery fee will apply for rugs, decorative accents, backdrops, balloons, & etc. We do require a delivery fee for all large orders (including furniture) that require the use of a trailer.

  • What is the damage waiver?

    A 7% non-refundable damage waiver is charged on all rental items. This damage waiver is protective measure for the Provider and Client for rental items that are damaged through normal client usage. The damage waiver does not cover loss or excessive amounts of breakage or staining, and any items that are lost or not returned will incur a replacement charge. The Damage Waiver cost is 7% of the rental order, before tax.

  • Is the damage waiver required?

    Yes, the damage waiver is required on all rental orders.

  • Will the damage waiver be refunded?

    The damage waiver is not refunded even if no damage occurs.
